California Library Association Stands United Against Hate
Lucy, our Conference cat, stands united against hate!
United Against Hate Week is October 19 – 25, 2025 and libraries are taking the lead in their communities!
United Against Hate Week is a call for local civic action to address the hate and bias that can tear at the fabric of community life.
Every year, libraries, community organizations, civic leaders, schools and faith groups display posters and plan events that raise awareness about the harm of hate, build community relationships, and affirm shared values of belonging and safety for everyone.
